So I was laid off from Raven and am now working to find a new position. I've currently applied to Human Head here in Madison and am also looking into other positions nation wide.

So it's now 12:30 on June 5Th, just 30 minutes passed my 20Th birthday. I have less then a week left in my Psych class and so far I have an 'A'. I start my online summer school class next Monday. I'm just glad that I won't have to drive to Truax, I'll save a lot of money on gas, not to mention that I won't have to pay any parking! My website is still under construction, I hope to have it running soon. I really don't have anything else to report at the moment, hope you all have a great week!

So my Spring semester is over and I know for sure that I have atleast B's. I've also started my intrum class, and so far everythings going good. I got a B on my first test, and I have two more tests tomorrow. All in one class, how lucky am I!? Anyway, I have another Raven seminar on saturday and that's when we get our mentors, I'm really excited! I'm also working on putting a website together and I hope to have it up and running within the next week or so. One final note, WHO'S EXCITED FOR BRATFEST!!?!?!

The Missing Parents Bureau...

So last week a woman in my independent art study class asked me to come and talk to her third grade art class about my program. The school she works at is in Sauk Prairie, quite the drive. So today during my lunch break I drove out to Sauk and explained what it is that I do and the class, a group of 8 boys, loved it. I showed them my guns and motorcycles, some art done by my instructors, basically monster stuff. They ate it all up. I had a lot of fun, and I got paid to do it! I have finals next week, pretty much just final projects and adding some shine to others. Then the week after that I start intrum, Three weeks, four hours a day, 830-1230. I'm taking Psychology. Then this summer I signed up for online english, which means, drumroll please....I don't have to drive to truax every day, I don't have to go anywhere!!! yea me! So I had my seminar today, and it went really well, I got some great pointers on how to put together a portfolio and internships with Activision. I got some great ideas on some things to add to my portfolio and I'm really excited to get started.

So my friend Claire, whom I was going to get an apartment with this summer, informed me on Monday that she's going to move in with another friend for the summer, when I asked her where that left me she told me and I quote, "Well, I still need a place to stay in the fall." So subsequently I won't be getting an apartment with Claire, I am however now looking for a studio or efficiency. School's going well, only a few more weeks till the end of spring semester.

Raven Software the big shot game company in town set up a three part seminar exclusively for MATC animation students, since many of their employees have originated from there, to help direct them in the video game workforce. In the last installment of the seminar, that takes place at the end of May, each interested student will be assigned a mentor from Raven in the field they are interested in. This whole experience has been so enlightening and inspiring. For those interested I have also posted some of my art I have been working on this semester. I'm Just Waiting for the Robot Invasion...

I decided to start this blog so I could keep in touch with my sister in Milwaukee. I don't get to talk to her very often and since she started her own online blog about her cooking and such, it gave me a small insight into her life. Maybe this way she can see what's going on in mine. I'll be posting more later...
